Josh Young

Josh brings over 20 years of experience working with Illinois farmland owners, with a background spanning farm management, appraisal, and land brokerage. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Farm Management program, a Certified General Appraiser in Illinois, and serves as a Designated Managing Broker, giving him a comprehensive foundation in both the operational and financial aspects of land. His experience spans a wide range of farm types and ownership structures, allowing him to approach each property with depth and perspective.

Before founding Land Resource Group in Illinois, Joshua worked in real estate across Eagle, Routt, and Summit Counties of Colorado, where he gained additional experience in complex property transactions and diverse land markets. This background broadened his perspective and strengthened his ability to navigate a wide range of real estate scenarios.

Today, Josh focuses on representing farmland investors and landowners across all phases of land ownership. His work includes asset valuation, acquisition strategy, negotiation, farm management, and disposition. With a deep understanding of land as a long-term investment, he helps clients evaluate opportunities, structure transactions, and manage assets with clarity and confidence.

Based in Illinois, Josh and his family remain actively involved in agriculture and value time spent outdoors. He enjoys hunting with his twin daughters and working on their family’s 5th generation farm in Macoupin County, maintaining a strong connection to the land and the heritage it represents.

Brittany Williams

Brittany has a background at the intersection of agriculture, environmental science, and federal program support. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois and a Master’s in Environmental Science, building a foundation in both the business and conservation sides of land.

Before moving into her land specialist role, Brittany spent several years working with federal farm programs and supporting government contracts, giving her firsthand experience with the policies, financing structures, and conservation programs that often shape farmland ownership and management.

Today, she focuses on land real estate and enjoys helping landowners, farmers, and investors navigate the unique decisions that come with buying or selling land. Her background in agriculture and environmental science helps her look at property from multiple angles—production potential, conservation value, and long-term investment.

Based near Troy, Illinois, Brittany enjoys time outdoors with her family, raising her two young daughters, and spending time on the family farm..

Hayden Geisler

Hayden Geisler brings a lifelong connection to agriculture and a strong foundation in auctioneering to Land Resource Group. Raised in rural Illinois, Hayden grew up around row crop farming, livestock operations, and local ag communities—experiences that continue to shape his approach to working with landowners and agricultural assets.

After graduating from Carlinville High School, Hayden pursued his passion for the auction industry by attending Missouri Auction School in 2012. Since then, he has built meaningful experience conducting auctions across a wide range of asset classes, including farm equipment, personal property, antiques, livestock, and benefit auctions. In 2025, Hayden expanded his professional services by obtaining his Illinois real estate license, allowing him to assist clients with land and real estate transactions—particularly those that benefit from the auction method of sale.

Hayden is an active member of the Illinois Auctioneer Association and currently serves as Vice President. His long-standing involvement reflects both his commitment to the profession and the relationships he has built within the auction and agricultural communities.

In addition to his work in auctions and real estate, Hayden remains actively involved in production agriculture. He works at a John Deere dealership in Jerseyville, operates his own row crop farming operation, and raises registered Red Angus cattle that compete at a national level. This hands-on experience provides practical insight when advising clients on the marketing and sale of agricultural assets.

Hayden resides in Brighton with his wife, Kaci, and their two daughters, Everley and Ada. He values time spent outdoors—whether working on the farm, raising cattle, or enjoying time with his family—and takes pride in helping clients navigate important land and auction decisions with confidence.
